After more than five years of service to Energy Capital Cooperative Child Care, Program Director Dana Santini is moving on to a new opportunity with Oliver-Mercer Special Education. The board is grateful for Dana’s leadership, as she managed the center from start-up with limited funds and equipment, through unprecedented and seemingly impossible decisions driven by the pandemic, and ongoing staffing and financial challenges in the pandemic’s wake. We need your help! Sunday, Sept. 10, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Energy Capital Cooperative Child Care in Hazen. The swing sets in our play yard need a base of gravel beneath them. We need volunteers to help build the frames and move gravel. We’ll have the gravel and framing materials; please bring a shovel and work gloves.
